I’m Cory Threlfall and I’m the Editor/Publisher/Webmaster of The Web Development Central BLOG.
I live in the Victoria, BC, Canada where my journey online began 7 years ago with the sole purpose of starting my own home based business and live the entrepreneurial dream.
I was always fascinated by the concept of working from your own home, being your own boss and working the hours you wanted to work. And what fascinated me even more was the Internet and the endless opportunities it offered people like you and me who were interested in starting there own home based business.
Now, just so you know, prior to my previous 7 years online I had never even been on the Internet before.
That’s Right!
I had never surfed the Internet. I didn’t even know what a ‘Browser’ was. Heck, I didn’t buy my first computer until 2001.
Point being, when I first got started online I was a complete newbie. I didn’t know where to start or who’s advice to take.
The options were limitless!
Well, 7 years have passed by and the end result of those 7 years is how this website came about.
Everthing I learned was self-taught. From building websites, to designing my own graphics and most important of all, how to market my business(s) via the Internet and was all done on my dime and spare time.
I literally absorbed everything I could get my hands on about the Internet, Internet Marketing and Web Development so that I would have a solid understanding of how the web functioned.
So, I thought to myself, wouldn’t it be great if someone on the Internet would show me the best Marketing Tools, Services and Resources, That Are Proven, so that you will be able to build an online business in less time and save money by way of someone else’s trial and error process.
The RESULT — The Web Development Central BLOG.
I present the Facts. No Hype. No B.S. And will tell you what I think of a Product, Service or Tool based on my online marketing experience and/or personnal use.
Please, don’t get me wrong. I don’t claim to be a Guru of any sort. I’m simply sharing this with you so you’ll see that I know a thing or two about building and promoting an online business.
As you probably know, it takes a long time to build a good reputation online, and yet, it only takes a matter of minutes to have it destroyed.
For that reason and that reason alone, I support every Product, Service or Tool I put my name to.
I would never recommend to you a poor Product just for the sake of making a few extra dollars.
I only offer or recommend quality and more importantly, PROVEN Products, Services or Tools that either I use myself or have actively researched.
Now, at this point, you’re probably asking yourself, why should I trust you?
Good question.
