Have you ever heard of a Trackback?

Here’s the definition I pulled from ASK: A trackback is one of three types of linkbacks, methods for Web authors to request notification when somebody links to one of their documents. This enables authors to keep track of who is linking, and so referring, to their articles.

There are software applications available online that will semi-automate the process if you are interested. Simply do a search for ‘trackback software’. I’m sure you will get a few hits.

You sound a little unsure about what I posted about how to make money from your blog.

To be honest there are many ways to make money from your blog a these few above are only a few but most common.

The first one is basically when you get paid by a company to write a post about there product or service and in return you get paid whatever was agreed upon before you wrote the post.

A great program that offers this is http://www.payperpost.com.

I’m sure some of you reading this post may already know about this program but for those that don’t it’s a great place to get started.

The second I listed of course is when you’ve built enough traffic to your blog you can start asking premium prices for your advertising space where ever you have it available on your blog.
