You will be able to learn from others to fill in the gaps in your knowledge, and along the way you will begin to have your own methods and techniques that work for you.

Become active on social media sites, but do not linger there. It is possible to do a lot of good, but also you can waste a lot of time on social media sites. These sites were not even available when I came online in 2005, so I believe it is even easier to get started with your online business now because of them. Let people know who you are and what you do, and then spend less than thirty minutes each day interacting with them.

Finally, create a free report or other free gift to give to your prospects in exchange for their name and email address. This will get you started with building a list, and that will be the foundation of your Internet business. Your free report or gift gives them a reason to join your list and it gives you a chance to tell them more about yourself and the things you know about.
